Reasonable prices and decent sized portion of both fish and chips. Batter crispy and not excessive.
The one time a piece of fish served was smaller than usual, they happily replaced it. -

My husband brought me here once for lunch and that was the last for me, unfortunately I won't be returning back to this fish and chips spot the food is not the greatest the quality was bad the taste was bad farrrrrr from a enjoyable fish and chips. It's best you save your money you will be disappointed btw the atmosphere of this restaurant was very strange.

WARNING !!! MUST READ
Two issues,
First, I ordered the Halibut fish combo & Haddock fish combo, the lady gave me the bill and charged my credit card $42.xx
I felt something is wrong because each is about $12 or $13, I told her that I think she over-charged me and she said "ohh yes I don't know what happened sorry", she refunded me that in full and charged me again on my credit card the right amount which is about $30.
My concern is that this business might be doing this on purpose to try and fraud the customer and some people might not catch on to this, so I suggest you double check everything and make sure they charge you the correct amount!!!

Second, the oil they use is shortening oil !!! If you don't know what's shortening oil then just simply go to Google and search shortening oil health
I'm surprised there are a lot of old people that eat in this restaurant, old or young this is NOT healthy for you at ALL, this raises your risk of heart disease, death from heart disease, heart attack and stroke. They also raise your "bad" cholesterol levels, lower your "good" cholesterol and cause inflammation and the hardening of your arteries.
So if you care about yourself and your loved ones, you shouldn't send them there.
You don't believe that they use shortening oil in this restaurant? Just simple call and ask if they use shortening oil and they will tell you, I knew it from the moment I tasted their fries and fish, I also called to verify after and was told yes they do.
Please hit Useful button below my review if you agree, so that way it stays on top as a warning to everyone.
Thank you, and you are welcome for the info I shared. -

Whooaaa..
Sorry for 2 star but it was disappointing experience for me.
I was in the area so desided to try fish and chips.
It looked like newly opened but the atmosphere was very strange.
No music and so quiet.
And server could not speak english very well so there was some difficulies asking some questions because i am not good at english too:(
Anyways I expected good taste of fried food but it was horrible taste ever.
Fish taste soggy and not fresh.
I order calamari as well .
It was the worst calamari ever.
The squid was too small and batter was soggy and squid taste strange salty.
Service was okay but she was busy doing something in the kitchen.
Anyways it was not happy experience for me.
I hope they are doing better job on food taste. -

2 stars = Meh. I've experienced better... at IKEA!!
I am a big fan of fish and chips. Too bad many places just don't know how to make it. So whenever I see a place with "Fish & Chips" in their name I have to try it out.
I will start off by saying the restaurant is spacey and it's decor is old-fashioned. Restaurant and washrooms are kept clean. Service is quick. No WiFi though.
Now to the food. I ordered halibut and chips. Portions are good but the halibut was greasy (and not in a good way). Fries were A-OK. I was expecting more from a fish & chips restaurant.
